Leading e-mobility provider will be showing its five leading solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s e-cars
Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd. (CATL), the third largest Lithium battery manufacturer in the world, is showcasing its industry-leading solutions, which are powering the present as well as the future of e-mobility, at IAA in Frankfurt in hall 4, booth A21 on the second floor of the exhibition center.
At the booth, the e-mobility leader will be exhibiting battery modules as well as battery packs, which have been designed for German OEMs such as BMW.
In addition, CATL will be featuring its five technologies at the booth. These include solutions which fulfill different requirements that automotive manufacturers (OEMs) have voiced, e.g. battery modules that can be fully charged in about 10 minutes (EnerSpeedy) or which come with an extra-long battery life-span(EnerDura) which is as long as 15 years or 15,000 cycles. Moreover, CATL’s EnerMagic batteries distinguish themselves by having the highest available energy density of all CATL cells, up to 270Wh/kg. The EnerClimate modules are IP68 qualified and feature a high level of resistance to dust and water, whereas EnerLasting is the most robust of CATL’s five technologies. Taken together, they are the solutions of choice for a number of renowned OEMs globally.
“CATL will be showing its five different technologies for in-car battery packs and modules which are tailored to different requirements the OEMs have for different car models. With different technologies, they are able to focus on specific customer needs such as fast charging, longevity of the battery or a superior performance of the module,” said Matthias Zentgraf, President, European Business, CATL. “Our aim is to be able to fulfill the most diverse requirements of OEMs with our e-mobility solutions, thereby assisting them to offer e-cars which are a genuine alternative to cars powered by combustion engines.” Matthias Zentgraf will also be available at the CATL booth from 12th to 15th September for interviews and a news announcement.
